A very nice place in 50s-60s North American style. Peaceful and family friendly atmosphere, quite a variety of pies and cakes. Though not so big choice of milkshakes and ice cream. Ice cream is pretty decent, serving size is fine, but nothing really fancy. Fair prices, especially taking into account overall expensiveness of the Vancouver metropolitan area. So yeah, I definitely recommend this place to visit for a lunch or just an ice cream time with children (or without).

Awesome! Especially loved the chicken pot pie. Lots of filling and sturdy crust. We also took home two frozen pies, and the Korean pork pie was delicious! It had SO much meat filling and was very flavourful. The gruyere, leek and potato pie was also nice - I liked that the potato was sliced like scalloped potatoes. The one criticism I have is that the location is somewhat dimly lit. The sweet pies at the front and the cookies could be better presented with brighter lighting on them.

Hands down the best pie in town, absolutely delicious, fresh, and made with so much care. I also love that they offer gluten-free options, which are just as amazing. Every bite was perfect! On top of that, the service was truly exceptional. Caroline is the best, so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. She made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone!

Very tasty pies. We had the key lime and chocolate cream pies - I am looking forward to trying their savoury pies next time I’m here. The key lime was better than the chocolate cream pie. It was very busy on Saturday night so you may need to wait a few minutes…

Absolutely wonderful experience! The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming — you can really tell they care about their customers. On top of that, the treat I ordered was absolutely delicious (Strawberry Milkshake and a Bacon Cheeseburger Pie) fresh, flavorful, and made with love. A perfect combo of great service and even better food. Can’t wait to come back!

Tried their deep fried pies at Brewery and the Beast and they were some of the best tasting pies we’ve ever had. The savoury meatloaf Wellington was rich and meaty with nice outer crust and meaty inside. The deep fried apple pie is just so classic with an amazing crust and lots of sweet cinnamon flavour. The Pie Hole really does pie well.
